March 2026: More Dogs, More Meals

March 2026: More Dogs, More Meals

March brought longer days and warmer streets.

More dogs came out. A lot more.

Dogs our local partners hadn't seen all winter. Dogs they didn't even know about until they showed up at feeding spots this month.

At some locations, there were more faces than bowls.

That's the reality of spring on the streets. The cold kept some dogs hidden. Surviving in places no one checks. And when the weather shifted, they came looking for food.

Your purchases made sure there was food to find.

How March Unfolded

Our local partners were out on the ground, same as every month.

Buying food in bulk. Loading bags. Driving to the spots where dogs have learned to gather. The same corners, the same alleys, the same quiet roads outside of town.

But this month, the routes got longer.

New groups of dogs appeared at locations that had been empty all winter. Our partners added stops. Adjusted quantities. Made sure the new arrivals got fed too.

Every piece of jewelry purchased from Rescue Paws helps us provide 10 meals to dogs in need. In March, those meals stretched further than usual.

The Dog in the Sun

Somewhere out there, a dog finished a bowl of food this month and stretched out in a patch of sun.

No rush to move. No need to search for scraps. Just a full belly and a warm spot on the ground.

That dog doesn't know your name. It doesn't know that someone, somewhere, chose a bracelet or a necklace because it meant something. It doesn't know that its meal today is connected to a decision you made weeks ago.

But it felt your love.

That quiet moment, a dog resting after eating, is what your support looks like on the ground. Not grand gestures. Not dramatic rescues. Just a dog that got to eat today.

More Dogs, Same Promise

March made something louder: there are more dogs out there than we can reach.

Spring brought them out of hiding. More hunger. More faces at feeding spots. More dogs living on streets that most people walk past without noticing.

We can't feed every dog. That's a truth we sit with every month.

But every month, because this community keeps showing up, we feed more than we did the month before. The map keeps growing. The routes keep expanding. And the dogs who know the schedule, the ones who show up at the same spots, same times, week after week, they keep eating.

That consistency is what your purchases make possible.

What Happens Next

April feeding operations are already underway.

Our local partners are coordinating schedules, buying food in bulk, preparing for next month's sessions. The new locations discovered in March are now part of the regular routes.

You'll receive the April update in early May, with a fresh set of photos from the field.

Every bracelet, necklace, or pair of earrings you purchase helps us provide 10 meals to dogs in need.

Thank you for making this possible.

You didn't just buy a bracelet. You chose to help dogs who have no one else looking out for them.

Month after month. Through winter, into spring. This community keeps showing up.

That's worth everything.
