Why we built a jewelry brand

Charities and shelters do incredible work. We chose a different role, the one we're good at: building a brand people love, and getting a message about these dogs in front of as many people as possible. The meals themselves are served by local partners who know the dogs in their area, and every meal is tracked and documented.

The message is simple: every dog matters. Too many dogs are forgotten, dogs who lost their family or never had one. We wanted to build a community of people who refuse to look away.

So we created a jewelry brand that exists for more than jewelry. Each bracelet helps us provide 10 meals to abandoned dogs, and it's made to start conversations: each time someone asks about your bracelet, more people hear about these dogs.

What we stand for
  1. Every dog matters
  2. Jewelry you'll love wearing
  3. A community that refuses to look away

In their own words
“We feed a lot of dogs. You help make it happen.”
Full message: “Hey, what's up Rescue Paws? We just want to give you a shout out. We feed a lot of dogs. You help make it happen. We just got some food delivered and we do it every single day. So thank you all.”

Who serves the meals

We don't serve the meals ourselves. Here's who does.

Rescue Paws is a small team with a huge purpose. We're not a shelter, and we don't run feeding routes ourselves.

We work with 20+ local partners in 10+ countries: local teams and street feeders who know where the dogs are, which ones keep coming back, and what they need.

We pay for the meals, and we make sure every meal is documented. They do the hardest part: being there for the dogs.

How we check

How we check that the meals happen

Signed agreements

Every partner, in writing

Every partner has signed a written agreement with us, reviewed by our lawyer: how many meals, how often, and what they report back to us.

Capacity first

We plan around real numbers

Before we work with a partner, we ask how many dogs they care for and how many meals they can serve each month. We plan the meals around that number.

Monthly proof

Photos, videos and a meal summary

Our agreements ask every partner for a monthly summary of the meals served, along with photos and videos from their feeding operations.

Paper trail

We ask for the paperwork

We also ask partners for supporting documents, like food purchase receipts and proof that our payments go to the partner's own account. When something is missing, we follow up until we get it.

Transparency

What we share, and what we keep private

What we share

  • Photos from feeding operations, every month
  • The total number of meals provided: 5,000,000+ and counting
  • Who we are: our registered US company, our address, and a real email address and phone number

What we keep private

Our partners' names and exact locations.

Many of our partners are small local teams and individual feeders. Publishing their names would flood them with messages, and copycat pages could use their names to collect money for themselves, the way some stores copy ours. So we keep their names private, and we answer your questions ourselves.

The part people ask about

Yes, part of the price pays for ads. Here's why that's a good thing.

Think about how you found us. You probably weren't searching for a bracelet that helps abandoned dogs. One of our videos or posts showed up on your screen, and you stopped.

That's not a side cost. It's the engine. A post about these dogs, left on its own, reaches a few friends and followers. The same post, as an ad, reaches thousands of people who care about dogs and might never have found us otherwise. Every new person who chooses a bracelet helps us provide 10 more meals.

We don't wait for people who love dogs to stumble on us. We reach out to them, every day.

What the price of your bracelet covers

  • The meals your bracelet helps us provide
  • The bracelet itself
  • Packing your order and helping cover the cost of shipping
  • The ads that reach the next person who cares
  • Customer support and our small team
  • What's left is our profit. It keeps Rescue Paws running and growing, and the more bracelets we sell, the more meals we help provide.

The questions we get the most

Is Rescue Paws a scam?

No. And we get why people ask: some stores copy our photos and even our name, so you should always check a brand before you buy. Our only website is therescuepaws.com.

Here's what you can check: we're a registered US company, every partner has signed a written agreement with us, and after your order you get access to our members area, with thousands of photos from feeding operations. 100,000+ people have chosen a bracelet so far.

Are you a charity?

No. Rescue Paws is a for-profit company registered in the United States, and purchases are not tax-deductible.

We're a jewelry brand built around one purpose: each bracelet you buy helps us provide 10 meals to abandoned dogs, through our local partners.

Why are you a for-profit company?

Because a brand reaches new people every day and gives them something they love to wear. The more bracelets we sell, the more meals we help provide.

We're not a shelter. Our role is to spread the word about forgotten dogs, build a community around them, and work with local partners who serve the meals, with every meal tracked and documented.

Your address in the US isn't even a shelter.

Correct: we're not a shelter. Our Wyoming address is our company's registered business address.

The dogs are where our partners are, in 10+ countries. We're the team that works with our local partners, makes sure every meal is tracked and documented, and keeps you connected to what happens.

Why don't you name your partners?

Many of them are small local teams and individual feeders. Publishing their names would flood them with messages, and copycat pages could use their names to collect money for themselves. We share the photos and the meal count, and we answer your questions ourselves.

Where does my money go?

Your purchase covers the meals your bracelet helps us provide, the bracelet itself, packing and helping cover the cost of shipping, the ads that reach the next person who cares, customer support and our small team. What's left is our profit, which keeps Rescue Paws running and growing.

Why do you spend money on ads?

Because ads are how people who care about dogs discover us. Every new person who chooses a bracelet helps us provide 10 more meals.

What do you mean by "abandoned dogs"?

Dogs who lost their family home or never had one, and who rely on someone else for their next meal. Some live on the streets, others in shelters. Your bracelet helps us provide meals in both places.

How many meals does one bracelet help provide?

Each bracelet helps us provide 10 meals to abandoned dogs.

How do I stay updated after my order?

Each month, we send photos from feeding operations by email. Customers also get access to our members area, with thousands of photos shared by our local partners.
